While our RV is still being serviced we decided to drive out to the coast to visit Florence and Yachats. We drove into the Sand Dunes Frontier, the dunes lie along the coast, with the estuariies of three major river valleys connected by two long stretches of sand, about 40 miles of dunescape. We drove in as far as we could go, then climbed up the dunes to view the beaches. After leaving the Dunes we drove north to Yachats where we had lunch at the Green Salmon Coffee Shop, it caters to the new age and millennials, so we fit right in!!!!! We had been here before on our first trip north in the RV in 2014, and wanted to return again it was so good, especially with vegan options! Bob enjoyed their mocha, known as the best mocha on the Oregon coast. Then it was a long drive back to Junction City to pick up the RV.
