On October 15th we returned to the USA and headed for Bar Harbor, Maine. We stopped for the night at the Narrows Too RV Resort and left to explore Acadia National Park, and Bar Harbor.
Thanks to the government the park is still closed to the public but we were able to drive around the island along the coast road. This is a place where we would like to return to and really get to explore the park and all it’s hiking and biking trails.
Driving along the coast on Eagle Lake Rd
Bar Harbor is a very quaint town with plenty of shops and restaurants for the tourists from the cruise ships to experience. There was a cruise ship in the harbor and we saw it leaving, they come here until the end of October. We had dinner at the Chart Room Restaurant so Bob could try a lobster before we left Maine.
